What is the Juneau Travel Fair?

The 2016 Juneau Travel Fair is a community engagement event promoting Travel Juneau members and the tourism industry's impact and importance to local residents.

Activities

This year, we are upgrading our venue and including more activities to make this an attractive, fun, family-friendly event.

Alaska Airlines Ticket Giveaway:

Fair attendees who post a picture at the event with the hashtag #JNUtravelfair16 are entered to win 2 round-trip tickets anywhere Alaska Airlines flies.

Live Event Video Streaming through Periscope:

Anyone (potential visitors outside of Juneau included) can tune-in to a live-stream of the event. Stream will include interviews with member businesses and behind the scenes with our food vendors and at the beer garden.

Live Remote Radio Broadcast through MIX106 and KINY:

The Juneau Radio Center will be interviewing members and broadcasting on KINY and MIX106.

Live DJ provided by KXLL:

Live DJ will be playing tunes throughout the event

Food:

Local food cart/truck members will be serving food & refreshments. Vendors include Coppa, V's Cellar Door, Peterson's Pretzels, Pucker Wilson's and Happy Camper
